Over the last 20 years Spanish cuisine has evolved enormously in the fields of creativity and innovation.

The work carried out by the chefs has placed modern Spanish cuisine in a reference position on the global stage.

The key element of this evolution has been the relationship between the professionals, dialogue, openness, solidarity and generosity within the gastronomic sector.

Transformation and innovation movements relating to cuisine are occurring in many countries in the world today, which have a strong gastronomic culture.

That is why the objective of the World Tour – Culinary Connection driven by the BCC, is to contact chefs from different countries, as well as to share the values that have been generated in the Spanish innovation cuisine with chefs from other latitudes, in order to consolidate a global culinary community that shares the same values.
